BNP Paribas is the leader in securities services for Europe, where its flexible and integrated business model spanning 15 countries continues to attract new mandates from large global institutional investors. BNP is the top custodian in France and Western Europe and among the top five globally. It is the recognized country winner in Belgium, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. In Germany, the bank increased the scale of its operations in 2025 with the acquisition of HSBC’s custody and depositary bank business there.

The bank’s comprehensive range of services is delivered through its leading NeoLink client portal, which provides a simple, highly customizable platform to adapt to unique client requirements. The platform was strengthened with additional applications and features in early 2026, including the integration of automated FX solutions for greater transparency, enabling users to monitor and manage FX cash flows for custody accounts; the upgrade of cash and payment applications for an enhanced view of liquidity; enhancements to the My Reporting app for customizable and centralized reporting; and improvements to the capabilities of Schedule Manager, the bank’s triparty collateral management solution.

Institutional clients benefit from BNP’s robust investment-analytics offerings, including its Data PRISM360 post-trade management solution. In collaboration with NeoXam, a leader in financial data technology solutions, this application provides a full suite of data management, analytics, and reporting features for enhanced portfolio transparency to better monitor risks and performance. BNP is accelerating its use of AI-driven solutions, with areas of implementation focused on client service, to optimize personal interactions, automation across the platform for improved productivity and efficiency with data and transaction reconciliation, and risk management. With the proposed move to T+1 by 2027, BNP is actively involved in improving market practices in Europe through close links with regulators and associations to address current and future issues faced by the custody sector.
