Global Finance has announced selections for the World’s Best Financial Innovation Labs as part of the annual Innovators awards for 2026. A full report on the results will be published in the June print and digital editions, as well as online at GFMag.com.
Now in its ninth year, the Best Financial Innovation Labs annual report on the leading players and emerging trends in fintech innovation has become a valuable and trusted resource. It recognizes the leading labs run by financial services companies (internal and external), venture capitalists, economic development organizations, and independent entities.

The Innovators 2026 is Global Finance’s 13th annual awards program honoring organizations at the vanguard of new ideas, products, and services in the financial sector. Honorees have also been chosen for the Most Innovative Banks and Fintechs, Top Global Innovations in Finance, and Top Innovations in Finance by Region.
All selections were made by the editorial board of Global Finance with the input of reporters who are experts on the functions being served by these innovators. Entries were not required for consideration, but submissions from banks, consultants and other organizations were carefully considered as part of the decision process.
