Global Finance magazine has announced the most innovative companies and individuals in the world as part of The Innovators 2018 – the publication’s sixth annual awards recognizing those that regularly identify new paths and design new tools in finance. A full report on The Innovators 2018 will be published in the June issue of Global Finance.
For The Innovators 2018 corporate and individual honorees, Global Finance took a wider view than in past years and sought to recognize innovative individuals and organizations that were not strictly from the banking and financial services sector. And though innovation is often synonymous with technology, Global Finance also considered and rewarded innovations beyond those that were solely tech-based.
Honorees for the best innovations in financial services can be found here. And honorees for the most innovative financial institutions in seven global regions can be found here. Both groups of honorees were previously announced.
“Global Finance’s selections for The Innovators 2018 are all individuals and entities that encourage and support creative thinking and have developed that thinking into viable solutions,” said Joseph D. Giarraputo, publisher and editorial director of Global Finance.
The 2018 Innovators honorees will be recognized at the Global Finance Digital Banks Awards Dinner on November 1st, at the Royal Institute of British Architects in London. Middle East Innovators will be honored at the Global Finance Middle East Digital Banks and Innovators Awards on September 25th in Dubai.
All selections were made by the editorial board of Global Finance with the input of reporters who are experts on the functions being served by these innovators.
