Global Finance has announced the winners of its sixth annual Sustainable Finance Awards, honoring achievements in 2025. Winners have been chosen in 56 countries, territories, and districts. Honorees have also been chosen in multiple global and regional categories and are listed in separate press releases available on GFMag.com.

This awards program recognizes global, regional, and local leadership in Sustainable Finance—funding for initiatives designed to mitigate the negative impacts of climate change and help build a more sustainable future for humanity.

Winners were chosen by the editors of Global Finance based on entries, which were not required for the country, territory and district awards, as well as independent research. Criteria for evaluation included governance policies and goals as well as measurable achievements in environmental and social sustainability financing. This awards program focuses on activities from January 2025 to December 2025.
