Global Finance will select the World’s Best Supply Chain Finance Providers 2027 based on independent research and entries submitted by banks, non-bank financial institutions, technology providers, and platform operators. Editors use a proprietary algorithm to assess quantitative and qualitative factors on total funded volume, active corporate buyer and supplier participation, and geographic footprint; commitment to the supply chain finance business; innovation and platform technology; execution skills, ERP integration, and onboarding speed; and results, working capital impact, and performance.
Entries are not necessary to win, but they strengthen the likelihood of success by allowing institutions to present data, strategy, context, and innovation that may not be fully visible through public sources.
Stage 1: Editorial Review and Initial Screening
Global Finance will narrow the field based on each provider’s capability and relevance within the specific category entered, including:
● Program volume, market share, active client growth, and geographic coverage across global supply chains ● Range of supply chain finance solutions (including Reverse Factoring, Dynamic Discounting, Deep Tier SCF, Sustainable/ESG SCF, and Receivables Purchase) ● Commitment to the supply chain finance business, including capital deployment, liquidity stability, dedicated onboarding resources, and multi-funder/TradeTech partnerships ● Evidence of meaningful innovation and technology adoption that enhances client outcomes, such as automated digital KYC, AI-driven invoice matching, ERP integration, and frictionless supplier onboarding
Stage 2: Final Editorial Assessment
Finalists will be evaluated on:
● Breadth and quality of supply chain finance solutions, and how effectively they optimize working capital (DPO/DSO improvements), reduce supply chain disruption, and unlock liquidity for both large corporates and multi-tier SME suppliers ● Innovation and technology deployment that reduces friction, automates manual treasury/AP workflows, streamlines document management, and enables rapid digital onboarding and time-to payout
● Client experience, project management, and execution capabilities — including custom engineering, clear pricing structures, transparent discount rates, and dedicated support for remote or underbanked participants ● Demonstrated results during the review period, including verifiable metrics on invoice processing volumes, supplier adoption rates, Scope 3 ESG impact, and client case studies showcasing measurable ROI
In the event of a tie, editors will give greater consideration to local and regional providers over global institutions and private-sector entities over government-owned institutions. Winners will be the firms that best serve the specialized working capital and liquidity needs of buyers and suppliers in their markets.
