Methodology
The winners of the Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance Awards are selected by Global Finance editors, with input from industry analysts, corporate executives, and technology experts. Editors evaluate both entries and independent research, considering a mix of objective and subjective factors. While it is not required to submit an entry to win, providing additional insights can improve the chances of success. The awards cover eight regions and approximately 100 countries, territories, and districts. Global Finance employs a proprietary algorithm that incorporates criteria such as customer needs knowledge, financial strength and safety, strategic relationships, capital investment, and innovation. This algorithm translates these ratings into a single numeric score, with 100 representing perfection. In cases where multiple institutions receive the same score, preference is given to local providers over global ones, and privately owned institutions over government-owned entities.
