Ruchir is responsible for developing the business and commercial strategy, managing the roadmap and defining the customer experience for Digital channels, products and propositions across Barclays UK and under his leadership, Barclays has become the largest digital bank in the UK. Ruchir spent over 15-years at Verizon Communications where he held several executive positions. Ruchir left Verizon as Corporate Vice President, Product Strategy and Development where he was responsible for product innovation, business strategy and development at the Group level spanning Wireless, Fixed-Line and Enterprise business units. He played a central role in designing and delivering the Emmy award winning FiOS TV service that generated over $6B in revenue and was transformative for the business. In 2003 and 2005 he was awarded the Frost & Sullivan Product Innovator award. Ruchir also holds several patents for product and business innovation. |
