Global Finance has announced selections for the World’s Best Financial Innovation Labs as part of The Innovators 2024. A full report on the results will be published in the September print and digital editions, as well as online at GFMag.com.
Now in its seventh year, the Best Financial Innovation Labs annual report on the leading players and emerging trends in fintech innovation has become a valuable and trusted resource. It recognizes the leading labs run by financial services companies (internal and external), venture capitalists, economic development organizations and independent entities.
“With the acceleration of digital transformation, the integration of blockchain technology, and the rise of decentralized finance, innovation in the financial sector is more critical than ever,” said Joseph Giarraputo, publisher and editorial director of Global Finance. “The institutions recognized as Global Finance’s Best Financial Innovation Labs 2024 exemplify excellence by pushing the boundaries and creating impactful solutions that address today’s complex financial challenges.”
The Innovators 2024 is Global Finance’s twelfth annual awards competition honoring organizations at the vanguard of new ideas, products and services in the financial sector. In the June 2024 issue, Global Finance honored the Most Innovative Banks and Fintechs, Top Global Innovations in Finance, and Top Innovations in Finance by Category. In past years, these awards and the World’s Best Financial Innovation Labs both appeared in the June issue. They have been separated this year to give each program additional attention as stand alone awards.
All selections were made by the editorial board of Global Finance with the input of reporters who are experts on the functions being served by these innovators. Entries were not required for consideration, but submissions from banks, consultants and other organizations were carefully considered as part of the decision process.
