NEW YORK, September 23, 2015 - Global Finance magazine has announced The Innovators 2015 - Foreign Exchange. This is the publication’s first annual listing of foreign exchange banks and services firms that have devised breakthrough products and enhanced services that are transforming how companies implement complex FX strategies and limit currency risk.
The Innovators 2015 – Foreign Exchange list will be published in Global Finance’s November 2015 issue, as part of the annual Foreign Exchange Supplement. The list covers a wide array of products and services: from hardware to software; FX desks to mobile apps; virtual money to structured derivatives. The report will also feature an in-depth look at how treasurers are using the tools to lower the cost of transactions and boost productivity.
“With exchange-rate volatility once again on the rise, corporate treasurers need products that provide instant information and more efficient ways to manage currency transactions and contracts,” said Joseph D. Giarraputo, publisher and editorial director of Global Finance. “In The Innovators, we identify banks and technology vendors that are filling that need.”
All selections were made by the editorial board of Global Finance. The board considered nominations and submissions, key research and the input of experts in evaluating those banks and service providers that stand out for their transformative products and solutions. The OECD’s Oslo Manual of Innovation was referenced when considering firms for inclusion. The Oslo Manual spells out four types of innovation: product innovation; process innovation; marketing innovation and organizational innovation.
