Stars Of China

Global Finance’s Stars of China Awards are the preeminent evaluation of financial institutions and other organizations in China by international media, and they recognize institutions that excel in serving China in harmony with the nation’s goals and objectives.

Honorees are featured in the November print and digital editions, as well as online at GFMag.com, and honored at Global Finance’s Stars Of China Awards Ceremony, held in Beijing in the Fall.

Global Finance editors select the winners for the Stars of China using information provided in entries and independent research based on both objective and subjective factors. It is not necessary to enter in order to win, but an entry can provide details that may not be publicly available. The editors incorporate insights from executives, academics and other industry experts. We apply an algorithm to arrive at a numerical score on a 100-point scale. The algorithm incorporates criteria—including knowledge of local conditions and customers, financial strength and safety, strategic relationships, capital investment and innovation in products and services—weighted for relative importance.
